The problem with damp hands...

How long would you wait?

Warm air hand dryers take too long – up to 43 seconds. So you rub your hands to speed up the process, or walk away with damp hands.

Everyone gets frustrated with inefficient hand dryers not working properly. It’s so annoying having to keep wiping your hands on your clothes.

Damp hands

The first line of defense against spreading bacteria is washing and drying hands properly. Washing alone isn’t enough. Damp hands can spread up to 1,000 times more bacteria than dry hands.*

Dry hands are cleaner hands

A recent report published in the Journal of Applied Microbiology has recognized that hand drying is an essential part of the handwashing procedure and can decrease microbial counts on the skin surface.

It found that, after 12 seconds of use, the Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer reduces the transfer of bacteria from hands compared to warm air hand dryers.
