Dyson machines are engineered to last. The Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer underwent three years of development and refinement before it was launched. The performance of every component was rigorously tested and high-quality materials were selected for endurance.

The long-life Dyson digital motor uses electronics to switch the motor phasing – using neodymium magnets instead of carbon brushes that wear down. Robust outer casings are made from either aluminum or polycarbonate-ABS. The HEPA filter was designed to last the machine’s lifetime.
